About the role

PROTECTIVE PLASTICS' is seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory Worker to join our plastics manufacturing facility in Marcoola, QLD. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art plastic moulding equipment to produce high-quality plastic products. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, reporting to the Production Supervisor.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate and monitor plastic moulding and CNC machines to ensure efficient and consistent production
  • Perform quality checks on finished products and identify any defects or issues
  • Assist with the set-up, adjustment, and maintenance of plastic moulding equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area to support a safe and productive environment
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify process improvements and optimize efficiency

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally in plastics processing
  • Ability to read and interpret production specifications, drawings, and work orders
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and follow instructions
  • Familiarity with workplace health and safety regulations
