Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy vehicles
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals
- Collaborate with other mechanics to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship
- Heavy vehicle maintenance experience
- MR License highly desirable
- Heavy vehicle mechanic ticket preferred; light vehicle qualified considered
- Pump, hydraulic, and pneumatics experience an advantage
- Responsible for general cab chassis maintenance
- Small engine maintenance, working on generators and pumps
- Possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willing to undergo a criminal history check
- Attractive hourly rate of $58.75 dependant on experience and qualifications
- Initially will commence as a 3-month position with the possibility of extension
- Working for a highly reputable national service
- 38 hours per week with the possibility of overtime
