Job Title: Veterinary Nurse SpecialistWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Nurse to join our medical team. As a key member of our hospital, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to patients and their families.You will work closely with our veterinary specialists to provide high-quality patient care, including preparing patients for procedures, monitoring anesthesia, and ensuring a clean and hygienic environment throughout the hospital.To be successful in this role, you will need a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent, a minimum of 2 years' experience working as a veterinary nurse, and strong technical nursing skills, including proficiency in IV catheter placement and blood sampling.Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to remain calm and focused during high-pressure situations. A positive, flexible, and enthusiastic attitude is also required.Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering high-standard care to patients and clients
  • Caring for hospitalized patients and recovering patients after procedures
  • Preparing patients for procedures
  • Monitoring anesthesia
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment throughout the hospital
  • Assisting with consultations
  • Conducting handover of patients
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working as a veterinary nurse
  • Strong technical nursing skills, including proficiency in IV catheter placement and blood sampling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to remain calm and focused during high-pressure situations
  • Positive, flexible, and enthusiastic attitude
