Job Title: Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled veterinary nurse to join our team. As a key member of our hospital, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional medical services to pets and their families.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for caring for hospitalized patients, recovering patients after procedures, and preparing patients for treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Delivering a high standard of compassionate care to both patients and clients, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Hospital Operations: Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment throughout the hospital, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Consultations: Assisting with consultations, conducting handovers of patients, and communicating effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Certification: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience working as a veterinary nurse, preferably in a specialty setting.
  • Skills: Strong technical nursing skills, proficiency in IV catheter placement, blood sampling, and performing temperature, pulse, and respiration checks.
