Procurement Manager Logistics

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead our logistics procurement activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing and negotiation strategies for logistics spend.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing sourcing and negotiation strategies for logistics spend.
  • Leading tenders/RFPs, evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and communicating outcomes.
  • Supporting the commercial team with pricing for tenders.
  • Contributing to working capital targets and ensuring correct purchasing channels.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Executing and communicating global procurement contracts.
  • Ensuring compliance with agreements and KPIs.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar procurement role within the logistics warehousing/transportation industry.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Project management capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using SAP, Advanced Excel, and Power BI would be advantageous.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
