Production Leadership Opportunity

We're seeking an ambitious, driven, and team-spirited Production Manager to join our site management team in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to take your career to the next level with development opportunities and exposure across multiple project rollouts.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all manufacturing activities on a site for different projects, including ensuring the continuous development of the manufacturing métier. Key responsibilities include:

  • Accountability for time management and compliance with local legislation
  • Continuously improving occupational safety for all employees, including contractors working onsite
  • Development of all employees
  • Accountability for the availability of required resources according to workload and production planning
  • Optimisation of overall workload of manufacturing
  • Responsible for people management as per local HR policy

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A technical qualification (highly desirable)
  • A proven track record as a Production Manager in a large manufacturing site, preferably in Rolling Stock
  • Leadership experience in managing a team of production staff
  • Strong interpersonal skills
