Project Design Coordinator

Job Overview:
The Design Manager role involves leading and coordinating the design process for renewable energy projects, encompassing Solar Farms, BESS, and Wind Farm initiatives. A key aspect of this position is ensuring designs adhere to safety, environmental, and operational standards while meeting project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop concept designs for tenders and bids by integrating all design elements.
- Collaborate with the estimating team to generate engineering quantities and RFQ packages for bids.
- Establish and maintain the Design Plan throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate necessary design reviews, verifications, and validations to ensure design integrity.
- Oversee constructability and monitor design resource effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Expertise in Renewable Energy projects, including Commercial / Industrial Solar Farms and Battery Storage systems.
- Proven experience in HV Power Systems projects, focusing on design and construction.
- Strong understanding of safety and environmental compliance in design and construction processes.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Autodesk CAD, PSCAD, PVsyst), MS Office Suite, and basic planning/supply chain tools.
