Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate operations to meet quality standards.
  • Assess ongoing work requirements and coordinate activities.
  • Respond flexibly to match client needs with available resources.
  • Prepare and monitor documentation including staff rosters, daily schedules, staff records, and timesheets.
  • Coordinate funeral teams to accurately follow instructions aligned to the funeral arrangements.
  • Monitor workplace and operational issues.

Requirements:

  • Supervisory experience in a service-driven organisation or ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to balance supervisory responsibilities and need to work closely with management with funeral responsibilities and working with other staff.
  • Plan, organise and conduct events so that they run smoothly within timelines.
  • Strong customer service ethos and commitment to service delivery.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow direction.
  • Sensitivity, along with comfort to circumstances involving grieving people.
  • In a fit state of physical and psychological health to be able to adequately perform manual handling, manage stress and carry out the inherent requirements of the position.
