Key Role in Business Growth

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business across Australia and New Zealand. This individual will be responsible for managing the full tender and business development cycle, ensuring seamless execution of strategic plans.

With a strong focus on internal relationships and client communication, the Proposal Manager will lead bid go/no go discussions, formulate clear bid plans, and deliver high-quality proposals that meet client expectations.

Our ideal candidate possesses at least 7 years of experience in a professional services environment, preferably within the built environment. A relevant degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is highly advantageous.

  • Tactical Proposal Planning: Review procurement documentation, lead bid go/no go discussions, and formulate clear bid plans to deliver compelling offers.
  • Strategic Proposal Execution: Lead the strategic approach and execution of high-quality proposals, tenders, bid responses, and supporting sales documentation.
  • Pipeline Management: Monitor pipelines and routes to market to anticipate procurement activities and support early preparation.
  • Client Support: Support consultants in preparing for client meetings with tailored materials, insights, and capability documentation.
  • Cross-Sell Opportunities: Identify cross-sell opportunities by recognizing client needs beyond their current service use and introducing relevant internal contacts.

This role requires a proactive and collaborative team player who can effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
