At Creative Scotland, we are seeking a highly organized and dedicated individual to fill the role of Strategic Event Coordinator. As part of our team, you will be responsible for working closely with the Concerts Director to ensure the efficient delivery of the SCO schedule, both in the UK and abroad.
The main objective of this position is to provide exceptional support to the Orchestra and its visiting artists, ensuring they have the best possible conditions to work. This includes taking part in creative discussions across the organization, facilitating cross-departmental collaboration, and supporting the Concerts Director and Chief Executive in artistic planning.
In addition, you will be required to lead on all touring arrangements within the UK and abroad, as well as artist liaison, contracting, and logistics. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure will enable you to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
We offer a competitive salary of around £36,000, along with 25 days annual leave plus 6 public holidays and 3 extra days between Christmas and New Year. You will also have access to a range of employee benefits, including company income protection insurance, life assurance scheme, cycle to work scheme, and NEST workplace pension scheme with employer contributions.
