Job Opportunity: Community Engagement Coordinator

The role involves fostering positive relationships between the Blacktown Animal Rehoming Centre and the community.

This is a pivotal position that focuses on enhancing public interactions, promoting responsible pet ownership, and overseeing companion animal management in the community.

About the Role
  • Develop strategies to enhance public interactions with the Blacktown Animal Rehoming Centre and the community.
  • Promote responsible pet ownership practices.
  • Oversee companion animal management in the community.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in regulatory or education field or a related field.
  • Solid experience in the management and detailed knowledge of the functioning of an animal holding facility.
  • Extensive experience handling animals, particularly dogs.
  • A police check will be required.
  • A current class C driver's licence is also necessary.
Benefits

The salary for this position starts at $109,144 per year.

A 38-hour working week is standard.

A car allowance is provided.

Rostered Day Off (RDO) every fortnight.
