Business Banking Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a portfolio of key customers and referral partners within broker clients, leveraging relationships to achieve income targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish networks of internal and external contacts to aid achievement of revenue goals.
  • Assess the economic value and risk potential of new business initiatives.
  • Maintain and enhance the credit risk profile and profitability of the customer portfolio.
  • Implement sales campaigns and promote tailored financial products and services within established parameters.
  • Develop professional excellence through management of individual and team performance.
  • Implement annual business plans for allocated customer portfolios.
  • Prioritize lending proposals, preparing and submitting for approval with justification, including industry and business analysis.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in retail or business banking, with a strong understanding of commercial practices.
  • 4+ years of experience in business banking and/or credit assessment.
  • Deep knowledge of financial products and services, with a focus on sales, lending, and credit assessment expertise.
  • A strategic thinker with exceptional relationship-building skills.
