The Opportunity

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing support to families to implement supportive strategies into their daily lives
  • Captaining and supporting families, group programs and individual therapy, linking families with community resources, and assisting with administrative tasks
  • Collaborating closely with key stakeholders and ensuring ongoing communication, leadership and support to deliver quality services
  • Focusing on continuous improvement through regular evaluation, training and review
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team

What You Need

The following attributes are sought:

  • A passion for making a positive impact in the lives of children and their families
  • Experience in paediatrics and/or training/experience in supporting therapy needs is highly valued
  • No formal qualification required, but experience with children and families with additional needs (including lived experience) is essential
  • Knowledge of the NDIS is desirable
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and autonomously in the community
  • Compliance – Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, First Aid & CPR certificate
