The role of a Nurse Practitioner involves working with a dynamic and supportive team to provide medical consultations to patients who lack access to short-term or urgent primary care.
This position requires a reliable vehicle for home visits and includes reimbursement for the cost of the Objective Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE) upon successful completion.
You will work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including RNs, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists, and doctors.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and clients, diagnosing diseases, disorders, and conditions.
- Initiate treatment, including healthcare management, therapeutic interventions, and prescribing medications according to statutory and regulatory standards.
- Provide professional guidance to other healthcare professionals and participate autonomously in interdisciplinary teams.
- Collaborate with clients and other healthcare professionals to identify trends and patterns affecting clients, families, and communities.
- Develop and implement population-based strategies to improve health and contribute to policy-making and quality improvement activities.
Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the relevant regulatory body, plus 4 years of recent, relevant clinical nursing experience.
SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE OBJECTIVE STRUCTURED CLINICAL EXAMINATION REQUIRED.
