About the Role
We are seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to support the implementation of our Health & Safety Management Plan on the Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Alliance. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the largest ever investment in Melbourne's Eastern Freeway network.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively address HSE and concerns by engaging with those performing tasks or activities.
- Support and mentor accident investigations up to Potential Class 1.
- Conduct risk assessment workshops to ensure HSE standards are understood and upheld.
- Monitor and conduct regular HSE governance checks.
- Investigate incidents and ensure effective resolution.
- Deliver toolbox talks and inductions to ensure a safe working environment.
About You
- Certificate IV in OHS or working towards one with prior tier 1 experience preferred.
- Reports and systems knowledge with the ability to utilise technology.
- ICAM, RRTWC, and RIW qualifications preferred.
- Hands-on experience in assisting supervision and management with HSE issue/action closeout within the workplace.
