Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Department of Health, Tasmania. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing expert nursing care, education, and support to patients and staff in Women's+.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and clinical practice development across a range of outpatient gynaecological services.
  • Work in partnership with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and support the continuous improvement of patient outcomes in gynaecology.
  • Collaborate closely with Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Consultant, and medical staff to implement clinical and/or educational policies, regulations, and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
  • Holds or is working towards relevant post-tertiary qualifications.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $103,466 - $109,165 per annum.
  • 11.5% superannuation contribution.
  • Access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses and meal entertainment.
  • Payment of $15,000 staged over three years for Nurses and Midwives who move to Tasmania from interstate.
  • Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.
