Corporate Services Manager

About the Role

This pivotal role supports the CEO and Board of Directors to ensure excellence in corporate governance, board operations, and organisational compliance.

The successful candidate will oversee all Board and Sub-Committee activities, produce high-level reporting, and ensure the smooth operation of governance processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end management of Board and Sub-Committee operations including meeting papers, reports, policies, schedules, and records.
  • Preparation of reports to the Board and State Council.
  • Onboarding, orientation, and training requirements for Directors.
  • High-level administrative support to Directors and Sub-Committee members.
  • Board performance appraisals and key reports such as the Chairman's Address for the AGM.
  • Management of Diligent Boards software and governance resources.
  • Assistance with strategic priorities, projects, and financial reporting inputs.
  • Compliance with corporate governance, risk, and regulatory requirements.
  • Driving continuous improvement in governance systems, processes, and documentation.
About You

A confident, collaborative leader thrives in this governance-focused role.

Strong commercial acumen, exceptional communication skills, (especially written), and the ability to foster trusted relationships with Boards, executives, and stakeholders are essential.

  • Experience working with Boards of Directors or senior leadership in a governance capacity.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business management, corporate governance, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' leadership experience across multiple business functions.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality documentation and reporting at an executive level.
  • A very strong eye for detail.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a consultative and team-oriented approach.
  • Understanding of risk management, compliance, business continuity, and quality improvement.
  • A self-sufficient attitude and style.
