Financial Crime Analytics Manager

We're seeking a data-driven professional to lead our financial crime analytics efforts. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing monitoring systems to detect and prevent financial crime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and application of monitoring systems to ensure maximum detection and prevention of financial crime.
  • Manage projects and provide analysis and data-driven solutions to stakeholders that aim to help the business understand and manage risk.
  • Produce clear and concise documentation to support decision-making.
  • Provide insights into trends and anomalies, including root cause analysis, to inform business decisions.
  • Design and develop performance reports for senior stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Complete relevant activities throughout model governance lifecycle to ensure monitoring systems meet group standards.
  • Liaise with project, technology, and Financial Crime Compliance teams to prioritize tasks and ensure delivery timelines are met.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a data analytics environment, having worked with large and complex datasets with tools such as SAS and SQL.
  • Experience developing reports using tools such as Tableau, Shiny, Power BI.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Experience managing working relationships with business stakeholders to deliver results.
  • Knowledge and experience in financial crime or risk management in financial services is highly regarded.
  • Experience with R or Python is advantageous.
