Job Description

As a Climate Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in empowering businesses to understand and manage climate risk exposure effectively.

  • Present complex data insights to clients through engaging presentations or written reports
  • Develop innovative data-driven solutions to enhance client value proposition
  • Conduct event response analytics following natural catastrophe events to inform business decisions
  • Identify relevant internal and external data sources and leverage new collection processes
  • Foster collaborative relationships with business units, IT, and analytics teams globally
  • Contribute to the development of cutting-edge analytics products and services
Required Skills and Qualifications

We seek an individual with:

  • Tertiary education in STEM fields such as Environment Science, Climate Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
  • At least 3 years of experience in climate risk analytics, natural hazard assessment, or a related field
  • Proficiency in querying data using Python and familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Databricks, AWS)
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is beneficial
  • Scenario analysis and stress testing skills would be advantageous
  • Creative problem-solving abilities with a focus on both immediate solutions and long-term impacts
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with clients and provide tailored solutions
