Job Title: Facilities Specialist

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our facilities management department.

As a Facilities Specialist, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our sites are secure, efficient, and compliant with all relevant standards.

  • Oversee the provision of security services, including access control, CCTV systems, alarm systems, key systems, incident support, investigations, and upgrade projects.
  • Manage service contracts to ensure high-quality delivery and compliance.
  • Drive contractor performance, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement in service quality.
  • Coordinate small facility projects and contractor schedules.
  • Maintain site appearance and uphold physical security standards.
  • Support asset management, space planning, document storage, and secure disposal processes.
  • Contribute to internal audits, self-insurance, compliance initiatives, and legal standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Site security experience, including exposure to access systems, CCTV, alarms.
  • Strong contractor management, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent project coordination.
  • Attention to detail with a proactive, improvement-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Horticulture, waste/scrap management, and canteen operations knowledge or experience preferred.
