Facilities Maintainer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing regular maintenance tasks to ensure the school's facilities are safe and functional.
- Undertake routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and servicing of equipment.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance to buildings and grounds.
- Assist with major maintenance projects, such as renovations and upgrades.
About the Role
- Carry out maintenance tasks independently without direct supervision.
- Communicate effectively with a range of people in a work environment.
- Provide high-quality maintenance services to meet the needs of the school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the school's facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues that require attention.
Requirements
- Fully qualified tradesperson (e.g. plumber, electrician, etc).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Awareness of Occupational Health and Safety guidelines and practices.
- Commitment to professional learning and growth.

- SC1: Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance tasks to a high standard.
- SC2: Demonstrated capacity to work as a member of a team, to follow instructions and take on responsibility to work independently.
- SC3: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a range of people in a work environment.
