Data Scientist Opportunity with Federal Government Department

Highly skilled Data Scientists are required by the HiTech Group to join a long term program focused on data integrity. This position is based in Australia and offers daily rates for successful candidates.
About the Role- Identify gaps and implement improvements to existing data collection methods to meet business objectives.
- Manage data securely and consistently with industry best practices.
- Leverage data insights to create customised, interactive visualisations that inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement data policies and frameworks within tight deadlines.
- Provide strategic data advice to senior executives and ministers on complex data matters.
- Utilise Microsoft Office suite, Power BI, SQL, and programming languages (e.g. R, Python, SAS) to deliver results-driven solutions.
Successful applicants can expect to receive daily rates in line with market standards. The contract is for 6 months with an option to extend for a further 6 months.
