About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Estimator and Scheduler, responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of steel reinforcing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the operation of projects from conception to planning and execution
  • Gather proposals, specifications, and related documents needed for project estimates
  • Identify design and constructability issues
  • Conduct analysis to determine constructability
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Work in a safe manner and always follow safety rules
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of project management experience working in the infrastructure industry
  • Experience in construction estimation
  • Demonstrated ability to determine key variables for cost and other estimates
  • Demonstrated experience in reading design plans, developing cost estimates
  • Experience gathering accurate information from sites, suppliers, and other venues
  • Strong knowledge in design, planning, and legislative requirements
  • Familiarity with financial and project management principles
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure construction process
  • Experience building relationships
  • Experience using estimating tools/software
  • Confident negotiation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Persistent approach to time management
  • High levels of enthusiasm, energy, and resourcefulness
  • Excellent planning, organization, and computer skills
  • A high degree of accountability and attention to detail
