A high-volume payroll specialist is required to manage the financial services organisation's monthly payroll for 650 employees.

Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for processing monthly payroll, reconciling and processing month-end journals, ensuring accurate and timely calculation and payment of payroll liabilities.
  • They will also complete end-of-year payroll reconciliations for group tax, payroll tax, and other obligations.
  • Additionally, they will calculate and process termination and severance payments as required.
  • The role requires providing support to employees on payroll-related queries.
  • The ideal candidate will stay up-to-date with legislative changes relating to tax, superannuation, and employment law.
Requirements:
  • The successful candidate must possess strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • They must have experience with and be proficient in MS Excel and Netsuite.
  • Experience in a hands-on role with high levels of attention to detail is essential.
