Lead Rehabilitation Nurse

As a lead rehabilitation nurse, you will play a pivotal role in guiding your team towards delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the delivery of person-centred care, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the multidisciplinary team.
  2. Proactively identify and address areas for quality improvement, ensuring seamless communication and coordination among team members.
  3. Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based practice, driving optimal patient outcomes through effective leadership and resource management.
  4. Empower staff development by providing coaching, mentoring, and training opportunities, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Job Requirements

  • Registered Nurse-Division 1 qualification and relevant management experience or tertiary education; and commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and support a clinical team, promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and digital skills, with proficiency in clinical systems, rostering, and documentation.
  • Experience in implementing change and quality improvement initiatives, with a sound understanding of clinical governance and service development.
