The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leadership in the water sector or a related field, with a focus on driving high-performance cultures and operational excellence. They will be able to demonstrate expertise in transforming teams, change management, and building constructive cultures.
The Head of Development Services will be responsible for:
- Leading a team dedicated to enabling economic growth in the region through timely and quality approvals for connections to Unity Water's water supply and sewerage networks.
- Providing expert technical advice on infrastructure delivery across Unity Water's region, while maintaining safe and reliable water and waste services for the community.
- Managing relationships with stakeholders, including customers, government entities, and industry partners, to influence, negotiate, and constructively resolve conflicts.
- Developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the water sector, with experience in land use planning, infrastructure planning, development assessment, legislation, and governance. They will be able to think strategically, analyze complex situations, and make informed decisions that align with Unity Water's long-term goals and objectives.
