Job Summary:

This role involves developing and optimizing shutdown plans and schedules for a 6-month assignment at an open-pit mining site in Western Australia.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Progress tracking to achieve best practice turnaround
  • Creating detailed plans and schedules to coordinate all activities and work groups
  • Providing progress tracking, auditing, and reporting as part of the daily management process
  • Development of detailed work packs for scope of work execution

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of project planning and scheduling systems
  • Trade or technical background and experience in planning/scheduling for major shutdowns or projects
  • Formal project management or planning qualification
  • Ability to pass a strict pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
  • Provide 2 references covering the past 12 months of employment

  • Demonstrate ability to manage costs and drive cost savings
