Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the progressive yet sustainable growth of our community by developing strategic plans and initiatives that balance growth and development for the betterment of all.
  • Promote renewable energy and lead the way in innovative solutions.
  • Lead a small but diverse team with a combination of internal and external priorities and stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment between effective services and community needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in planning or related discipline with management experience at a senior level in the public and/or private sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a consultative environment both inside and outside the organisation and commitment to providing excellence in customer service.
  • Strong strategic planning, financial management skills and business acumen.
  • Highly developed leadership, communication, negotiation and project management skills.
  • Sound working knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in leading a team to achieve positive outcomes.
