As our new Manager Growth Planning, you'll partner with our Director Development & Environment, CEO and Councillors to tackle exciting challenges and seize emerging opportunities as one of the Renewable Energy Zones. Make your mark by developing strong working relationships and networks with diverse partners from both State and Federal Government agencies and other stakeholders.

What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will need:

- Bachelor's degree in planning or related discipline with management experience at a senior level in the public and/or private sectors
- Demonstrated ability to work in a consultative environment both inside and outside the organisation and commitment to providing excellence in customer service
- Strong strategic planning, , financial management skills and business acumen
- Highly developed leadership, communication, negotiation and project management skills
- Sound working knowledge of the EP&A Act 1979, LGA 1993, and other associated legislation and regulations
- Strong working knowledge of the Central West Orana Renewable Energy Zone
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in leading a team to achieve positive outcomes.

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $139,693 to $188,997. A leaseback vehicle is also available.
