  • Contribute innovative food creations to catering events through Infinite's Chef Community.
  • Manage budgets, procurement, stocktakes, and equipment maintenance processes.
  • Attend daily management meetings with other department heads to drive strategic and operational outcomes in a collaborative and supportive leadership style.
  • Engage with residents, families, and colleagues, actively listening to feedback and promoting continuous development.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Chef support network to learn, improve, and deliver exceptional food outcomes; develop new services.
  • Partner with education providers and VET programs to establish regular intakes of commercial cookery students into the kitchen.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will require:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial kitchens.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a kitchen environment.
  • Natural communication skills and ability to create a safe, fun, and learning culture; mentor others to build culinary skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
  • Commitment to safety training and upskilling.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery, including a valid Food Safety Supervisors certificate.
