About This Opportunity

  • Manage client portfolios, assess complex issues and provide consultation based on expertise as a Senior Small Business Specialist in the SBTDC Charlotte Region Center.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Consultation – Manage client portfolios, evaluate complex issues and provide consultation based on expertise.
  • Professional Knowledge – Maintain expert knowledge of program policies, procedures, technology and best practices related to business growth and management.
  • Information Analysis / Decision Making – Assess and resolve client issues using financial information and other documentation.
  • Communications – Promote the SBTDC across the multi-county area, represent at meetings and conferences and establish relationships with referral sources and client groups.
  • Program / Project Administration – Ensure attention to detail and deadlines, maintain confidentiality and complete reports accurately and timely.

This role requires strong problem assessment and research skills as well as the ability to work with minimal supervision. A motivated individual with a passion for business growth and development is encouraged to apply.
