**Job Title:** Disability Support Worker

 

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to provide one-on-one support to individuals with diverse needs. As a disability support worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our participants by offering tailored support solutions, promoting independence, and fostering a sense of community.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to participants, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with mobility and transportation, such as accompanying clients to appointments or outings.
  • Support daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Promote independence and self-sufficiency by teaching life skills.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive environment where participants can thrive.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential participant records.
  • Communicate effectively with participants, their families, and the care team.

 

Requirements:

  • Cert III/IV in Disability or equivalent qualification.
  • NDIS Screening Check.
  • NDIS Induction Module.
  • Previous experience in a support worker role or related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
