Customer Service Representative Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team. As the first point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for coordinating all activities relating to customer management, ensuring prompt and accurate communication between company and customers, and processing and coordinating client orders with warehouse and transport teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Coordinate with warehouse and transport teams to ensure efficient order processing and delivery
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is maintained in the warehouse management system
  • Perform administrative tasks as directed by the Site Manager and/or Customer Service Team Leader/Manager

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • A current forklift licence
  • Certificate IV Warehouse and Logistics (desired)
  • Good ability to use Microsoft Office or similar software
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision if required
  • Ability to problem solve to meet customer needs
