Job Description

As a senior indirect tax professional, you will play a crucial role in delivering real-time insights and shaping business strategies to drive growth and success. You will work closely with clients to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and improve their overall indirect tax position.

With the ever-changing landscape of indirect tax, this role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of our team that is at the forefront of development and innovation. Based in Naarm – Melbourne or Warrang – Sydney, you will have the flexibility to work from various locations while being connected to our global network.

This is a unique chance to apply your technical expertise in GST and/or Stamp Duty to deliver tangible results and make a lasting impact on our clients' businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients in managing their indirect tax risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct assurance reviews and due diligence reviews to identify risk areas, and assist in delivering data analytics and tax technology services.
  • Collaborate across multiple projects and clients to provide expert advice on key indirect tax issues, leveraging developing technologies to help clients achieve their business goals.
Requirements:
  • Technical expertise in a key indirect tax such as GST and/or Stamp Duty, ideally gained through experience in a law firm, Big 4, or mid-tier accounting firm.
