Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Visiting Medical Officer to join our team in Ophthalmology.

Ophthalmology Clinical Expertise

This is an excellent opportunity for a medical professional with expertise in Ophthalmology and Glaucoma surgery to contribute to the department's clinical services.

The successful applicant will be responsible for participating in Ophthalmology clinics, performing operative procedures, supervising registrars and residents, and involved in teaching and education.

Requirements
  • Registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of RANZCO or equivalent required.
  • Sound clinical knowledge in Ophthalmology and Glaucoma surgery essential.
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills and attitudes necessary.
  • Familiarity with research concepts and commitment to support basic, applied or clinical research.
  • Experience in quality assurance activities and evidence-based practice desirable.
  • Commitment to teaching and supervision expected.
