Visiting Medical Officer Paediatric Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Visiting Medical Officer to provide high-quality medical services in Paediatric Ophthalmology at Nepean Hospital.

  • This is a unique opportunity for a medical professional to work with our multidisciplinary team and contribute to quality assurance activities.

The ideal candidate will possess sound clinical knowledge and skills in NICU/SCN Ophthalmology, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements
  • Possess or be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Possess Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmology (RANZCO) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate expertise in screening and treatment of Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP).
Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure continuous improvement in patient care.
