Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team in Newcastle, focusing on sales strategy, customer relationships, and product promotion.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining current product knowledge to present to customers.
  • Presenting and selling company products and services to current and potential clients within the remodel, home improvement, cabinet makers, builders, and fabrication sectors.
  • Responsible for overall sales of the assigned territory.
  • Identifying and taking opportunities to maximize the visibility of Cosentino products to generate sales.
  • Optimizing sales and marketing by promoting visits to Cosentino Centers.
  • Working to find new points of sale.
Customer Service Focus

The Account Manager will also focus on:

  • Ensuring customers have adequate marketing materials to support sales, including samples, brochures, and other collateral supplies.
  • Managing customer relationships by resolving client concerns, ensuring customers are set up in CRM systems, providing price quotes, scheduling weekly visits, etc.
  • Increasing market share by elevating the number of displays and point-of-purchase materials within assigned territory.
  • Planning the number of visits to clients and the appropriate frequency of visits based on client importance.
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with clients based on mutual trust and respect.
  • Attending and providing post-sale service.
Business Intelligence and Strategy

The Account Manager will collaborate with:

  • Cosentino Corporate staff, Cosentino Center staff, and other Account Managers as needed to accomplish goals.
  • General Manager and Sales Team to execute a business strategy for all customer segments in the area (K&B, Fabricators, etc.).
  • Preparing action plans to identify specific targets and project the number of contacts to be made.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

  • Sales or field merchandising experience.
  • Experience with a Customer database, Salesforce preferred.
  • Stone fabrication or distribution experience is desirable.
