We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Youth Witness Officer to join our team in the Department of Justice and Community Safety. The successful applicant will have extensive experience in providing direct services to children who have experienced trauma, as well as demonstrated experience working in community and/or Court based settings.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide specialist case management to child witnesses and their families, assessing specific needs that may affect their participation in the criminal justice process.
  • Tailor court preparation to individual child needs, including stress management techniques and working collaboratively with other professionals.

**Essential Requirements:**

  • Tertiary qualifications in a human services related profession (Social Work, Psychology, or Allied Health).
  • Current 'Working with Children Check' and driver's licence essential.
