Senior HSE Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to join our operations team as a Health, Safety and Environment Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the company's health, safety and environment strategies and systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety strategy and system aligned with operational goals and regulatory requirements
- Provide compliant advice to stakeholders and the business when managing issues or incidents
- Identify, assess and mitigate psychosocial risks across all levels of the organisation
- Partner with production, quality and people teams to ensure HSE systems are not only compliant but also followed and reflective of best practice
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments to proactively identify potential workplace health and safety issues and develop appropriate action plans
- At least 5 years' work experience in a senior HSE role in a manufacturing environment
- Tertiary qualifications with an HSE focus preferred
- HSE technical skills such as training, auditing, investigation and learning teams
- Extensive experience in dealing with chemicals on site and warehouses
