Breakfast Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled Breakfast Chef to join our pre-opening team in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and plating high-quality breakfast dishes, working closely with the front of house team to ensure smooth operations.

  • Taking charge of the breakfast section and leading service with confidence and calm;
  • Preparing and plating consistently high-quality dishes with a focus on seasonality and flavour;
  • Working closely with the front of house team to ensure smooth early operations;
  • Keeping the section clean, organised and prepped for the next shift;
  • FOLLOWING food safety and hygiene standards to the letter;
  • Assisting junior kitchen staff where needed.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Breakfast Chef or strong Demi Chef in a high-volume kitchen;
  • Prior experience motivating a diverse kitchen team in a high-pressure environment;
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work clean, stay focused and stay ahead;
  • Confidence with eggs, pastries and beautifully balanced breakfast dishes;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff and other departments.
