About the Role
Suncorp Group is a leading insurance provider seeking an experienced Customer Claims Expert to drive commercial outcomes and deliver exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in claims management, with strong priority management and organisational skills. They will also possess excellent verbal communication skills, empathy for customers, and a commitment to integrity.
As a Customer Claims Expert, you will be responsible for reviewing workplace injury claims, assessing liability, and managing claims to achieve return-to-work outcomes. You will work closely with medical, financial, and investigative teams to ensure accurate assessments and timely resolution of claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review workplace injury claims and assess liability, managing claims to a return-to-work outcome.
- Obtain and review medical, financial, investigative, and rehabilitation reports to assist in the accurate assessment of individual claims.
- Ensure legislative compliance timeframes are met in conjunction with ongoing review of medical, financial, investigative, and rehabilitation reports.
- Achieve cost-effective resolutions for claims.
- Provide early access to appropriate rehabilitation, enabling injured claimants to achieve optimal recovery from their injuries.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to legislative authorities, employers, and injured workers through timely response times and efficient processing.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary package, including a base salary of approximately $85,000 - $115,000 per annum, depending on experience.
