About the Role:
">We are seeking an experienced and skilled Director of Transportation Operations to lead our transportation operations team in Australia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency, safety, and quality of our transportation operations.
">The successful candidate will have a strong background in transportation operations management, with experience in managing teams, analyzing data, and driving process improvements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions that meet business objectives.
">• Lead a team of transportation operations managers and coordinate activities across multiple regions
">• Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
">• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements
">• Drive change management initiatives to improve communication and collaboration across teams
">Requirements:
">• 5+ years of experience in transportation operations management
">• Proven track record of leading teams and driving process improvements
">• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
">• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
">Preferred Qualifications:
">• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field
">• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
">• Certification in Lean/Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies
