At KPMG, we're seeking a talented Tax Advisory Manager to join our Corporate Tax Advisory team. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop relationships with Financial Services clients, particularly in the Banking and Capital markets sector, and identify potential opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to gain a deep understanding of their businesses and identify potential opportunities.
- Lead multiple engagements of varying size and complexity, providing expert tax advice and guidance to clients.
- Produce high-quality tax opinions and deliverables, presenting to senior leadership teams for review.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior tax consultants, helping them develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements
- Previous corporate tax experience in a professional or legal services firm, with a strong understanding of Australian and/or other Commonwealth country tax laws.
- Ability to produce well-researched and clearly articulated tax opinions, with a strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Legal and/or commerce degree, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
