Director of Counselling Services

We are seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead our team of skilled professionals in providing high-quality services to survivors of torture and trauma.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small caseload of complex clients, collaborating with regional leadership to support service delivery and staff across the region, and developing the skills of their team members.
About the Role- This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and experience in counselling and therapeutic interventions to make a real difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Counsellor Advocates, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of safe and person-centred services.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and staff engagement, working closely with regional leadership to achieve shared goals.
- Manage a small caseload of complex clients, providing specialist advice and support to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Requirements:
- Degree-level qualifications in psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Advanced skills in psychosocial assessment, formulation, planning, and care coordination for young people and adults.
- Excellent understanding of trauma-informed practice and negotiation with multiple service systems.
