The Director of Counselling and Wellbeing Services is a key leadership role that drives student wellbeing strategies at our school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Counselling and Wellbeing Services Team to ensure systems support student wellbeing
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs for enhanced student wellbeing
- Establish links with community support agencies and allied professionals
- Support Deputy Principal – Student Wellbeing in staff development and managing complex cases
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information. They will also be committed to child protection and safety in schools.
Requirements:
- Full registration as a Psychologist or Counsellor/Social Worker with relevant regulating bodies
- A current Victorian driver's licence and access to a vehicle
- Commitment to safe work practices, professional learning, and development
- Ability to use digital technology effectively
