About the Role
We are seeking an Employment Coach to join our team at Endeavour Foundation, a leading employer of people with disability in Australia.
As an Employment Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disability to achieve their employment goals and aspirations. You will work closely with our employees, stakeholders, and external partners to promote Endeavour Foundation as an employer of choice and provide tailored support to our supported employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote Endeavour Foundation's services and support to people with disability, highlighting the benefits of employment and career development.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to build collaborative partnerships and drive business growth.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring our supported employees achieve their NDIS employment goals.
- Work closely with site managers to attract, recruit, and select supported employees, ensuring commercial operations are optimized.
- Assist in the collection and analysis of data for internal and external reporting, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
- Collaborate with site managers to review and improve procedures and processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
- Support individual support planning and NDIS funding reviews, developing person-centered support activities that align with the workplace.
Requirements:
- Experience working with people with disability in an employment setting or direct support.
- Demonstrated ability to operate within a person-centered framework and apply the principles of social justice.
- Ability to be flexible and agile in the workplace, adapting to changing priorities and environments.
- Genuine commitment to Endeavour Foundation's purpose and values, with a willingness to adapt to a changing environment.
- Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using current MS Office programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to engage with and collaborate effectively with external, internal, and external stakeholders.
- Experience in training, coaching, and developing people with disabilities.
Qualifications:
- Cert III in Individual Support (Disability) and previous case management experience highly regarded.
- Working with Children's Check (Blue Card).
- NDIS clearance.
- National Police Check clearance.
- Mental Health First Aid highly regarded.
