About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Child and Youth Worker to join our team in providing support and care to vulnerable children and young people.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the lives of these young individuals, empowering them to become confident and capable members of society.

As a Child and Youth Worker, you will be responsible for guiding and assisting with personal care needs, planning activities, and offering trauma-informed care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess individual needs of children and young people
  • Develop life skills through daily routines and activities
  • Offer supportive care to manage challenging behaviours
  • Maintain safety and supervision at all times

Requirements:
  • Relevant job or volunteer experience working with young people
  • South Australian Driver's Licence P2 or above
  • South Australian Working with Children Check
  • First Aid certificate - HLTAID012 - Provide Emergency First Aid in an Education Setting
