The Department for Child Protection is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Adoption Services team on a full-time and part-time ongoing basis.

About the Role
  • Deliver an office-based service to the community that provides information on adoption, providing counselling to birth parents who are considering placing their child for adoption.
  • Conduct comprehensive professional evaluations, training, and assessments of prospective adoptive parents and individuals involved in the adoption process.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in casework, supporting families throughout the adoption journey, guiding children's transition into their adoptive families, and developing effective interventions that promote positive outcomes for children and their families.

About the Benefits
  • Career progression tailored to your goals: we are a large organisation with diverse opportunities across metropolitan Adelaide, regional and remote South Australia.

  • Leave loading and salary packaging opportunities.
