Project Controls Specialist

This is a newly created opportunity for a Project Controls Specialist looking to diversify their resume. As a key member of our Network Project Team, you will be responsible for managing project costs, identifying cost and schedule risks, and delivering project status reports to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Update and analyze project cost data, including budgets, actual costs, and forecasts, to ensure projects remain within financial guidelines.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including fully resourced loaded activities, critical path methodology, and logically linked tasks.
- Track, monitor, measure, and report on project progress using Earned Value Analysis techniques.
- Implement and oversee project control processes, including change management procedures, to manage project scope, schedule, and costs effectively.
- Facilitate risk management activities, identifying and reporting on potential cost and schedule risks, and advising on mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate and collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project status and performance metrics.
- Establish and maintain project documentation and records.

Requirements:- Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Finance, Engineering, and/or Construction Management.
- High level of skill and proven extensive experience in project controls or related roles.
- Well-developed communication and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience utilizing Primavera P6 or a project planning software.
- Experience using SAP.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience and knowledge of railway and infrastructure projects, preferred.
