About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Controls Specialist to join our Network Project Team, reporting to the Project Controls Manager. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing project costs, identifying cost and schedule risks, and delivering project status reports to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update and analyze project cost data, including budgets, actual costs, and forecasts, to ensure projects remain within financial guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including fully resourced loaded activities, critical path methodology, and logically linked tasks.
  • Track, monitor, measure, and report on project progress using Earned Value Analysis techniques.
  • Implement and oversee project control processes, including change management procedures, to manage project scope, schedule, and costs effectively.
  • Facilitate risk management activities, identifying and reporting on potential cost and schedule risks, and advising on mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project status and performance metrics.
About You

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Finance, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • High level of skill and proven extensive experience in project controls or related roles.
  • Well-developed communication and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience utilizing Primavera P6 or a project planning software.
  • Experience using SAP.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
